Job Description/Requirements

The Dispatch Officer at MotorSpeed will ensure seamless logistics operations by overseeing the accurate packaging of customer orders, scanning and preparing orders for dispatch, and conducting thorough follow-ups on all deliveries. This role involves coordinating delivery schedules, monitoring movements, communicating effectively with agents and clients, maintaining precise dispatch records, and resolving operational challenges to ensure timely and efficient delivery services across Kenya.


Key Responsibilities: 1. Order Preparation: Verify and ensure accurate packaging of customer orders to meet quality and delivery standards. 2. Dispatch Management: Scan and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly processed and assigned to drivers. 3. Delivery Coordination: Plan and assign delivery schedules, optimizing routes for efficiency and timeliness. 4. Follow-Ups: Track delivery progress, conduct follow-ups on all dispatches, and address any issues or delays promptly. 5. Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with agents, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure smooth operations. 6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of dispatches, delivery statuses, and logs for reporting and compliance. 7. Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve operational challenges, such as delivery delays or discrepancies, to maintain customer satisfaction.
