Job Summary

The Executive Administrative Officer will play a critical role in supporting the Managing Director by streamlining executive functions, coordinating cross-departmental activities, and ensuring strategic goals are effectively communicated and tracked. This is a full-time, onsite position based at the client's Athi River office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities across departments (Finance, Sales, Production, Distribution, and Logistics) under the direction of the MD.
  • Track departmental progress to ensure alignment with company goals and strategic objectives.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of departmental plans and initiatives.
  • Review departmental reports, analyze data, and present key findings and recommendations to the MD.
  • Manage the MD’s schedule, including meetings, travel, appointments, and official communication.
  • Plan and coordinate executive meetings; take minutes and follow up on action items.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the MD’s office and both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Act as gatekeeper, managing access to the MD, and ensuring priorities and communications are effectively handled.



Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Secretary (CPS) will be an added advantage
  • Certified Public Accountant – Kenya (CPA-K) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar executive support or administrative role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and business operations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite and business communication tools.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and time management skills
