About the Role
A Leading International Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective French lessons in line with the Cambridge Curriculum, inspiring learners to develop strong communication skills and a love for the French language and culture.
Key Responsibilities
● Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality French lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum.
● Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive learning environment.
● Assess, monitor, and evaluate students' progress, providing timely feedback.
● Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and progress reports.
● Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
● Promote the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French.
● Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
● Maintain effective classroom management and uphold school policies.
● Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
● Participate in school meetings, extracurricular activities, and professional development programmes.
● Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's Degree in Education with a French specialization.
Experience
● Minimum of 6 years' teaching experience in a Cambridge Curriculum School.
● Demonstrated experience delivering French lessons within the Cambridge Curriculum.
Skills and Competencies
● Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
● Ability to engage and motivate learners.
● Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
● High level of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
