Job Title: Human Resource Assistant
Industry: Industrial Engineering
Location: Nairobi, Mombasa Road
Salary: 30K-35K Gross amount
We are seeking to hire a Human Resource Assistant to support our client in the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a strong interest in supporting HR processes and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities


  • Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist in tracking employee performance reviews and training activities
  • Provide administrative support in handling employee relations matters
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain proper documentation of HR activities
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant employee data (incentive, bonuses etc.)
  • Respond to employee queries and provide basic HR guidance
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through feedback mechanisms.
  • Support compliance with labour laws and company policies


Qualifications and Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–2 years’ experience in an HR support or assistant role preferably in an engineering, manufacturing or a fast-paced environment)
  • Basic understanding of Kenyan labour laws and HR practices
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
