Our client is seeking a Human Resource Officer to support effective HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, records management, performance management, and policy implementation. The successful candidate will ensure smooth HR processes, promote a positive workplace culture, and provide professional support to employees.Job Description
  • Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support employee relations, addressing workplace concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including appraisals and employee development.
  • Manage employee leave, attendance, and HR-related reports.
  • Coordinate training and development activities for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with Uganda labour laws and company HR policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and records.
  • Salary is Negotiable
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Administration, or a related field.
  • Must have 4 years of experience and above in Human Resource role.
  • Must be familiar with Uganda labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be a Ugandan Resident
  • Location Uganda
