Main Purpose of the Job

Main Responsibilities
1. To champion business growth efforts by developing clear road map towards strengthening our presence in our key stronghold while also continually scanning the market for new potential growth areas.
2. To drive operational sales by coordinating day to day sales activities amongst your team, developing effective funnel of prospects with definite closure timelines and ensuring month on month achievement of the targets.
3. Drive growth of the anchored/supporting technology such Soja and Guard Patrol System among the existing and new clients as well as the upcoming revenue lines such as Event Management and Security Screening.
4. Effectively manage operational costs by developing lean operations strategy, continually reviewing the key cost drivers, aligning every cost with particular revenue it generates and eliminating the resources that do not support or directly linked to revenue growth.
5. Compile monthly business performance report indicating business growth and profitability.
6. Support debt management by resolving any outstanding operational or service delivery Issues or claims that- may delay/derail collection of payment.
7. Champion client retention strategy by building and maintaining robust relationship with them through enhanced communications, visits and participating in their key activities/anniversaries, leveraging on their network to market our products and secure business referrals.
8. Drive excellence in service delivery by developing comprehensive service charter, SOPs for every assignment, ensuring every team member understands the service delivery standards/objectives and instituting performance monitoring mechanisms with the ultimate goal to maximize customer satisfaction and zero service related complaints.
9. Develop operations strategy benchmarked with global standards outlining the goal of your department/branch and giving clear road map towards reaching the goal. The strategy to be reviewed every quarter.
10. Champion implementation of the Quality Management Standards with continual review of the areas to improve and ensuring every operational unit under your custody strictly operation within the guidelines of these Standards.
11. Develop comprehensive Business Operations Risks Management Plan outlining risks within/without the business and specific mitigation measures, setting timelines for continual reviews and implementations.
12. Develop and drive high performance culture among your team members setting smart performance objectives with review timelines and reward schemes for the exceptional performers and improvement measures for persistent low performers.
13. Champion skill development among the team members through mentorship and trainings to position them for career growth.
14. Institute clear measures of managing employees work related issues within the framework of the existing labour laws, forging a win-win working relation with the Union so as to promote harmony and eliminate avoidable Industrial disputes.

Academic & Professional Qualifications
• A university degree in Security Management/Business related field or its equivalent
Job Skills
• Sound knowledge of security operations and revenue growth especially in manned guarding.
• Demonstrable competence in and enthusiasm for innovation and adoption of the best practices in the industry.
• A sound appreciation of operational issues affecting security industry in Kenya
• Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines with minimum supervision
• Excellent Interpersonal and team skills including tolerance and flexibility.
