The Project Manager drives Automation and Development projects from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role proactively removes roadblocks, holds stakeholders accountable, facilitates collaboration, and keeps initiatives moving forward on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Workflow Management
- Create and manage detailed project plans with defined timelines and clear milestones
- Prioritize, assign, and track work to ensure deadlines and goals are met
- Monitor daily team activities and provide daily support to team members
- Hold stakeholders accountable for commitments, deadlines, deliverables, and project outcomes, including individuals who do not report directly to this position.
- Anticipate risks, identify roadblocks, and collaborate with leadership to solve critical issues
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report on project progress and results
- Partner with leadership to refine and expand automation and development KPIs
- Communicate proactively with leadership and provide regular KPI updates
- Develop, maintain, and standardize SOPs, training guides, and other departmental resources
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with leadership on workflow changes before implementing to ensure consistency across departments
- Assist the RCM Services and IT Services teams as needed
- Reinforce new processes and department-wide initiatives to ensure smooth adoption
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management

- Facilitate communication with all stakeholders involved in projects, including vendor integrations, customers, staff, and leadership

Remote Work Requirements

- Availability during established Eastern Time business hours is required.
- Candidates must also be able to actively participate in meetings, respond to stakeholder requests, and support project execution during core working hours.
Qualifications
- Active PMP certification required
- Additional Agile, Scrum Master, PRINCE2, or related certifications are preferred
- Previous project management experience, preferably in healthcare, automation, or software development
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Azure, Jira, MS Project)
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

To support long-term success, a structured development plan will be established during onboarding, including 30-day, 60-day, 90-day, 6-month, and 1-year milestones with clear expectations, learning objectives, and performance goals.
By the end of the first year, a successful Project Manager will:
- Maintain accurate project plans, timelines, and priorities across multiple initiatives.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks and drive resolution before they impact delivery.
- Provide consistent, timely communication and project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish strong working relationships across Automation, Development, Operations, and Leadership teams.
- Improve accountability by ensuring commitments, deadlines, and action items are clearly tracked and followed through.
- Contribute to the development of project management standards, reporting, documentation, and operational processes.
- Successfully deliver projects that support Medbill's strategic objectives while fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Operate with a high degree of independence, initiative, and professional judgment while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.
- Ensure project commitments are tracked, communicated, and completed with minimal leadership intervention.
