ABOUT THE COMPANY

Savorlink Ltd is a Nairobi-based food processing and supply company providing ready-to-cook products such as precut potatoes, blended tomatoes, and other value-added vegetables to restaurants and households. Our mission is to make food preparation more efficient and consistent while supporting local farmers through direct sourcing and minimizing food waste.

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving Savorlink’s market growth by identifying, engaging, and converting potential clients within the hospitality and foodservice industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving company revenue objectives.This role demands a high level of professionalism, initiative, and adaptability, as the Sales Executive will be the primary representative of Savorlink to external partners and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and food vendors.Develop and implement structured sales strategies aligned with company growth targets.Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to generate interest and close sales.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to inform strategic decisions.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with key customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by coordinating with operations and production teams for timely deliveries and consistent quality.Handle client feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare accurate weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.Maintain an updated client database and track progress using CRM tools or structured reporting templates.Collaborate with management to refine marketing and customer acquisition strategies.Market EngagementRepresent Savorlink at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events.Gather insights on customer needs, market demand, and potential product opportunities.Provide feedback to the product development team regarding new product ideas or service improvements. Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.2–3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the food processing, FMCG, or hospitality sector.Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Familiarity with restaurant procurement and the dynamics of Kenya’s food industry.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems or digital sales tracking tools.Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working under minimal supervision.Desired AttributesA confident and engaging personality with the ability to connect easily with clients.High integrity, accountability, and customer-centric thinking.Strategic mindset with a strong focus on execution and results.Team player with the flexibility to adapt in a growing and fast-paced business.
