Job Summary:
The position shall be responsible to lead and coordinate the strategic, administrative, and operational functions of our institution. The candidate will be responsible in ensuring the school achieves academic excellence, administrative efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
Job Description
Strategic Leadership
• Provide visionary and strategic leadership to drive the school’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
• Lead the formulation and implementation of school policies, strategic plans, and performance improvement strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Sisters, parents, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of school programs and introduce innovations for continuous improvement.
Administrative Management
• Supervise and coordinate the work of teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure smooth school operations.
• Manage staff recruitment, development, performance appraisal, and disciplinary processes in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and oversee the school’s annual budget, procurement, and financial reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education regulations, curriculum standards, and school governance frameworks.
• Prepare and present reports to the Board of Management and external regulatory bodies.
Operational Oversight
• Ensure the effective delivery of teaching and learning programs, timetabling, and co-curricular activities.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and conducive environment for students and staff.
• Handle day-to-day operational matters including student discipline, facility management, and parental engagement.
• Monitor school attendance, academic progress, and staff performance regularly.
• Coordinate internal and external examinations, ensuring integrity and preparedness.
Job Specifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Education Administration, or a related field is required.
• 8 years of experience with Minimum of 5 years' experience in school administration or a similar leadership role.
• TSC registration is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Age: Between 38 and 50 years.
