Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibility and duties:
• Serves as primary contact for school-related inquiries, including emails, incoming and outgoing visitors and telephone calls; provides accurate information and courteously redirects inquiries to appropriate departments and conveys/records messages in a polite, friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling enquiries, questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
• Admitting new children and keeping up to date records of each pupil admitted in the school
• Organizing for school trips in consultation with the Head Teacher and the Director
• Prompt ordering of school stationery, kitchen supplies and other items as per need
• Maintain an up-to-date record of all school inventory and a register of school assets
• Organizes and manages the storage and distribution of all school supplies and maintain records of same, ensuring adequate supply upkeep and procurement consistent with organizational policies and procedures
• Maintaining the school personnel records
• Managing the school petty cash and reconciling the same on a weekly basis
Qualification & Experience
• Diploma in secretarial studies, business management, administration or equivalent
• At least 5 years working experience in a similar position in a school or a busy environment
• Strong organization and administrative skills with attention to detail
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
• High integrity and trustworthy
• Demonstrate confidentiality
• Able to think on their feet with good planning skills
• Good communication skills (written and Oral)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
• Internet and social medial experience
o Proficiency in Microsoft office packages
