Arrow Facilities Management Ltd is a Nairobi-based cleaning and facilities management company serving homes, offices and commercial facilities. We specialise in contractual cleaning as well as one-off facilities cleaning and maintenance services, including deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning and long-term contractual cleaning services.

We are strengthening our operations and supervision team and are looking for a responsible, presentable and dependable Driver /  Assistant Supervisor who can support daily company transport requirements while progressively learning and taking on cleaning supervision responsibilities.

Role Purpose

To safely and reliably support the movement of staff, equipment, cleaning materials and company documents while assisting with the coordination and supervision of cleaning teams at client sites.

The successful candidate should primarily be a competent and responsible driver, but must also be willing and able to learn professional cleaning supervision and progressively take responsibility for field teams.

What You Will Do

Driving & Transport

• Safely drive company motor vehicles for authorised company duties.
• Transport cleaning stewards, supervisors, equipment, machines, detergents, PPE, documents and other company materials between the office and client sites.
• Assist with loading, offloading and securing equipment and materials.
• Ensure transported equipment and materials are properly accounted for before departure and upon return.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks, including fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, mirrors and general vehicle condition.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, secure and roadworthy condition.
• Maintain accurate vehicle movement and mileage records as required.
• Immediately report accidents, breakdowns, defects, damage or other vehicle-related incidents.

Operations & Messenger Support

• Deliver and collect company documents, invoices, quotations, contracts, supplies and other authorised items.
• Obtain appropriate acknowledgement, signatures, receipts or proof of delivery where required.
• Handle company and client documents securely and confidentially.
• Support collection and delivery of supplies from clients, suppliers and other authorised locations.

Assistant Cleaning Supervision

• Learn Arrow’s cleaning standards, processes, equipment and quality-control procedures.
• Assist with mobilisation of cleaning teams to client sites.
• Confirm attendance and report absenteeism, lateness or performance concerns.
• Assist in allocating duties to cleaning stewards.
• Monitor cleaning quality and help ensure work is completed to company standards.
• Ensure machines, equipment, detergents and PPE are used properly and safely.
• Take before-and-after photos or videos where required.
• Support professional communication with clients at site.
• Report client instructions, complaints, damages, safety concerns or operational challenges promptly.
• Assist with obtaining client sign-off upon completion of cleaning assignments.
• Ensure equipment, tools and materials issued for jobs are returned and accounted for.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A valid Kenyan driving licence with Category B1/B2 and Category A2 endorsements, permitting the holder to drive a light motor vehicle and motorcycle.
• At least 2 years of practical driving experience.
• A good driving record and strong understanding of road safety.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
• A professional and presentable appearance.
• Ability and willingness to learn cleaning operations and cleaning-team supervision.
• Ability to handle equipment, materials and company property responsibly.
• Ability to maintain basic vehicle movement and accountability records.
• Flexibility to work according to operational requirements, including early starts, evenings or weekends when necessary.

Added Advantage

The following will be advantageous:

• Previous experience working for a cleaning, facilities management, logistics or service company.
• Previous experience supervising or coordinating staff.
• Basic knowledge of professional cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Familiarity with Nairobi and surrounding areas.
• Experience handling deliveries, company documents or operational errands.

Contract & Remuneration

• Monthly salary: KES 25,000.
• Additional KES 900 supervisory allowance for each successfully completed one-off cleaning job supervised.
• Opportunity to take on greater supervisory and operational responsibilities based on demonstrated performance and capability.
