Head of Software Engineering

We've partnered with an incredible Fintech scaleup as they prepare to launch, and scale, an African superapp that have products across:

• Payments and transactions.
• eWallets.
• Remittance.
• Digital lending.
• SMS based purchasing.

In case you're wondering how it's possible to have so many products within a startup, the answer is simple - they're recently going through a huge merger where they're absorbing some of their competitors to create an all-in-one Fintech powerhouse. 💪

And that's where you come in.

This company are now hiring their very first Head of Engineering to work with their newly appointed CTO to oversee the merger and to bring these products, and teams, together.

👇 Here's what they're ideally looking for:

• 9+ years' commercial experience in a backend focused role (Golang preferred).
• Experience of leading software engineering teams (10+ people would be great).
• Familiarity with DDD and building event driven systems.
• A huge plus if you have Fintech and/or early stage startup experience.

💰 Here's what they're offering:

• 1m - 1.5m KES per month ($7,700 - $11,500).
• A future benefits package yet to be defined.
• Flexible working arrangement from Kenya (2/3 days in the office per week).
