JOB SUMMARY
On behalf of our client, a leading healthcare provider, we are seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer with a strong focus on HR Operations.The incumbent will drive end-to-end people processes, including recruitment, compliance, and performance management. The primary goal is to ensure the Centre is consistently staffed with qualified and compliant personnel. A core responsibility is to champion employee engagement and guarantee the timely resolution of staff welfare or policy issues so that clinical teams can focus, undistracted, on safe patient care.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Mandatory Professional HR certification - Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and Member of Institute of Human Resource Management in Good standing Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management as a Human Resource Officer or Generalist preferably within a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare organization.Strong working knowledge of employment laws and industry-specific regulations related to clinical staff compliance.Skills and CompetenciesExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining rigorous standards for staff credentialing and mandatory training records.Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive staff welfare and policy issues with empathy, discretion, and efficiency.Ability to manage multiple, interconnected HR processes (recruitment, contracts, training) simultaneously under pressure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff, from clinical leadership to support personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. End-to-End People Processes & ComplianceManage the complete recruitment lifecycle for clinical and non-clinical roles. This includes robust sourcing, conducting interviews, and ensuring the thorough verification of professional licenses, certifications, and clinical credentials.Prepare, issue, and manage all employment contracts and documentation, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with organizational policies.Design and execute a structured onboarding program that integrates new hires smoothly, with a strong emphasis on introducing core facility policies, patient confidentiality and safety protocols.Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential personnel files (both electronic and physical). Ensure meticulous documentation of credentials, training, and compliance status to meet regulatory and accreditation audit requirements.Drive and track all mandatory training (infection control, compliance) to guarantee personnel are compliant and qualified to perform their duties safely.2. Performance, Engagement, and SupportChampion initiatives to enhance employee engagement and overall staff morale, specifically targeting the unique needs and challenges faced by clinical professionals.Administer the performance management cycle (goal setting, reviews, development plans), ensuring alignment with clinical quality standards and patient safety outcomes.Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries, welfare concerns, and policy interpretation. Ensure timely, fair, and confidential resolution of grievances and disciplinary issues to minimize operational disruption.3. Policy and Regulatory AdherenceAdvise management and staff on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practices relevant to the healthcare sector.Work collaboratively with Clinical Governance to ensure HR processes support quality care and safety standards.
