Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports. 
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial documentation. 
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.


Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage. 
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
