We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Clerk to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth billing and reporting operations. Job descriptions & requirements


Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions accurately into the accounting software and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in processing supplier invoices, preparing payment schedules, and verifying customer receipts.
  • Reconciliations: Perform daily or monthly bank, petty cash, and supplier account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Gather data to help the finance team prepare regular administrative and financial reports.
  • Compliance: Assist in the preparation of documents for tax and statutory compliance (e.g VAT, PAYE, and NSSF/NHIF in Kenya).

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Certificate or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related Business field.
  • (Alternatively, progressing through CPA Level 1 or 2).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to handle figures
accurately.
