JOB SUMMARY
RequirementsDiploma or degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related fieldAt least six (6) months’ practical experience in a similar roleInterest or experience in social media management and digital communicationsBasic photography, videography, and content editing skillsStrong organisational, communication, and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft social media posts, captions, short articles, and field storiesSupport content gathering from staff, partners, and field activitiesAssist with managing social media platforms and tracking basic analyticsCapture and edit photos and short video clips for communication useSupport editing of basic multimedia content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Creative SuiteAssist with documentation during workshops, meetings, and field missionsSupport donor visibility through preparation and tracking of communication materialsProvide logistical and administrative support for communication-related activities
REQUIRED SKILLS
Project preparation and planning, Programme management, Budgeting, financial planning, Project implementation, Project monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Diploma, Associate's degree
