CREDIT CONTROL OFFICER
Job summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Credit Control Officer to join our team in Muthaiga. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts, following up on outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collection of debts.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in credit control, debt collection, accounts receivable, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to follow up professionally and consistently on outstanding payments.
- Honest, organized, and dependable.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.Salary
KES 18,000 – 20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities- Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.
- Make calls and send reminders to customers with outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and outstanding debts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare regular credit control and collection reports.
- Ensure timely allocation and recording of customer payments.
- Work closely with the accounts and sales teams to resolve payment issues.
- Maintain good relationships with customers while following up on outstanding debts.
- Escalate long-overdue accounts to management when necessary.
- Ensure company credit control procedures are followed.
