About the Role
Limitless Packaging Ltd is seeking a qualified and hands-on Culinary Production & Product Development Assistant. The successful candidate will support the preparation, production, improvement and standardisation of our sauces, kombucha, snacks and other food products.
The role requires someone who can work confidently in a production kitchen, follow recipes accurately, maintain high food-safety standards and assist with new product trials.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and produce sauces, snacks and other food products according to approved recipes.
· Measure and weigh ingredients accurately for each production batch.
· Assist in developing and testing new recipes and product variations.
· Standardise recipes, production methods, yields and portion sizes.
· Maintain batch-production and ingredient-usage records.
· Monitor cooking temperatures, preparation times, consistency, taste and product quality.
· Ensure proper hygiene, cleaning and food-handling procedures are followed.
· Monitor raw materials and report low stock levels in good time.
· Minimise production waste and record any losses or rejected products.
· Support product filling, packaging, labelling and storage.
· Ensure finished products meet the company’s quality standards.
· Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the production area and equipment.
· Assist with production planning and completion of customer orders.
· Follow all company recipes, processes and confidentiality requirements.
· Perform other production-related duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
· Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, Catering or a related field.
· At least two years of practical experience in a commercial kitchen or food-manufacturing environment.
· Experience preparing sauces, snacks, bakery products or packaged foods will be an advantage.
· Good understanding of food hygiene, food safety and proper storage practices.
· Ability to follow and scale recipes accurately.
· Ability to operate basic food-processing and kitchen equipment.
· Good record-keeping and stock-control skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
· Reliable, organised, physically fit and attentive to detail.
· Willingness to work in a growing company and assist across different product categories.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in product development or new recipe trials.
· Knowledge of HACCP, GMP or other food-safety systems.
· Experience with batch-production records and stock-management systems.
· Basic understanding of product shelf life, preservation and quality control.
