Job summary

The External Marketer will be responsible for promoting the college's programes through field marketing and outreach activities to generate qualified leads and increase student enrolment. The role involves engaging prospective students, schools, organizations and communities, conducting follow-ups, building referral networks.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote college programes through field visits, outreach and direct marketing.
  • Identify and engage prospective students, schools, organizations and community groups.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into applications and admissions.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp and other approved channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, organizations, community groups and referral partners.
  • Participate in career fairs, open days, exhibitions and other recruitment activities.
  • Identify new markets and opportunities for student recruitment within the assigned territory.
  • Distribute approved marketing materials and professionally represent the college.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, visits, applications and admissions.
  • Submit regular field activity and recruitment reports.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback on market trends.
  • Achieve assigned weekly, monthly and quarterly student recruitment targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, field marketing or business development.
  • Experience in education or student recruitment will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, networking and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets in a field-based environment.
