DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation Support (Training Provided)

• 
  
• Assist senior technicians during wireless and fiber internet installations.
  
• Help mount and secure network equipment such as CPEs, radios, and access points.
  
• Support basic cable pulling and organization during fiber installations.
  
• Learn proper alignment of wireless equipment for good signal quality.
  

Basic Maintenance & Fault Assistance

• 
  
• Assist in checking and replacing faulty equipment when guided.
  
• Support simple troubleshooting tasks such as checking power, cables, and connections.
  
• Participate in routine maintenance visits to network sites.
  

Fieldwork & Safety

• 
  
• Learn and follow safe working practices, including proper pole-climbing techniques.
  
• Use provided safety procedures and PPE during all field activities.
  
• Work outdoors and travel to different sites as part of a field team.
  

Teamwork & Learning

• 
  
• Work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors.
  
• Follow instructions and learn standard installation and maintenance procedures.
  
• Ask questions and actively participate in hands-on training.
  

Reporting & Communication

• 
  
• Update job status and task completion using a smartphone-based system.
  
• Take basic site photos and submit simple reports as instructed.
  
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
  

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• 
  
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
  
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and telecommunications equipment
  
• Familiarity with broadband technologies such as Fiber, DSL, Cable, Wi-Fi, and LTE
  
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  
• Willingness to travel frequently and work across different counties
