JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications & ExperienceCPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is mandatoryBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage5+ years’ experience in a finance management role, ideally with exposure to group accounting and multinational operationsExperience in the HR, outsourcing, or agency sector is a strong plusProven ability to manage remote teams and work across culturesAdvanced proficiency in English (spoken and written)Strong knowledge of Kenyan statutory requirements; experience with other African markets is an advantageExcellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage group accounting and financial reporting across Kenya, Cape Verde, and MozambiqueSupervise a team of 4 finance professionals located in each country of operationLead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processesEnsure compliance with statutory requirements and serve as the primary liaison with Revenue Authorities in each countryManage audit processes and coordinate with internal and external auditorsOversee payroll accounting, statutory payments, and financial controlsDrive continuous improvement in financial processes and reportingPrepare timely and accurate management reports for the COO and leadership teamUtilize and optimize ERP/accounting systems (experience with Primavera BSS or similar is a plus)
