- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Prepare management accounts and financial performance reports for decision-making.
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial procedures.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports.
- Support departmental heads in budget preparation and expenditure control.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational and financial efficiency.
- Monitor production and operational costs to ensure cost efficiency.
- Conduct product costing, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Analyze inventory costs, wastage, and operational variances.
- Support pricing analysis and financial evaluation of business initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow positions and ensure adequate working capital management.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and advise management on liquidity planning.
- Support banking transactions, payments, and financial obligations management.
- Ensure proper management of receivables, payables, and operational cash cycles.
- Strengthen and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and financial reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audit processes and implement audit recommendations.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
- Support and guide junior finance and accounts staff where applicable.
- Promote accountability, accuracy, and efficiency within the finance function.
- Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, stores, and production teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- CPA-K Finalist is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance within a manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Strong hands-on experience in cost control, profitability analysis, and internal controls.
- Experience handling tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
- Exposure to ERP/accounting systems in a manufacturing setup is an added advantage.
