Job Summary

A graphic designer gives organizations a visual brand by working on a variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity. You'll work to a brief agreed with the art director, producer, account manager, production manager, creative director or client and will develop appropriate creative ideas and concepts for the client's objectives. The work requires a lot of creativity and an ability to design solutions with a high-visual impact.

Job Description

Experience Length: 3 years (Agency Experience)

Responsibilities

•    Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software including but not limited to After Effects
•    Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
•    Amend final designs to clients comments and gain full approval
•    Work as part of a team with video editors, photographers, designers’ e.t.c.
•    Develop graphics for product illustrations, websites, videos and logos
•    Review designs for errors before printing or publishing
•    Liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget
•    Managing client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production
•    Plan concepts by studying information and materials
•    Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
•    Originality and a strong visual sense
•    Strong computer skills
•    Confidence, to present and explain ideas
•    An interest in graphics and typography

Key Skills and Qualifications
Apart from technical and drawing skills, you will need to show:

•    3 plus years proven experience in Graphic Design in the Agency industry
•    Ability to work remotely
•    Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
•    A flexible approach when working in a team
•    Excellent communication skills in order to interpret and negotiate briefs with clients
•    Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain and sell ideas to clients and colleagues
•    Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time
•    Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designs
•    Being open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs
•    Effective networking skills to build contacts.
•    Conversant with current trends and techniques
