- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables where necessary.
- Present menus, explain menu items, daily specials, and answer customer inquiries.
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service throughout the customer’s dining experience.
- Handle customer requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure guests feel valued and receive prompt service at all times.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
- Clear tables promptly and prepare them for incoming guests.
- Process customer bills and payments accurately according to company procedures.
- Set up dining areas before service, including arranging tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and other dining essentials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and assigned sections.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with restaurant standards and operational procedures.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Ensure food and beverages are handled and served according to established health and safety standards.
- Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or hazards promptly.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, supervisors, and fellow service team members.
- Communicate effectively to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality establishment.
- Experience in customer service and food and beverage operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of restaurant service standards and dining etiquette.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and listening abilities.
- Professional appearance and well-groomed presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
