JOB SUMMARY

The Internet Installer is a serviceprofessional who affix and position equipment in a designated location andcomplete the set-up process so the equipment is ready for operation or canserve its service purpose. Their primary objective is to ensure the equipmentis installed in a safe manner that doesn’t present any hazards while alsosupporting functionality to allow for the best possible performance. Theyreview and explain operation and maintenance information to the user orcustomer. They will also provide ongoing support, maintenance, and repairs.Installers have a minimum of a high school diploma and may have completed atrade school program or training course. Hands-on experience installing andadjusting the particular equipment involved is preferred. These roles are oftenphysically demanding and may involve working in strenuous conditions.The position is open in the followinglocations: Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru. RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinatewith dispatch for daily appointmentsWear allidentification, safety and courtesy equipment at all times.Testelectrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning of routers andservice.Carrymaterial and stage for installer at the customer's' premises.Guide,coordinate and oversee fellow installers.Educate customersabout benefits and up-sell to customers’ add-on sales products.Evaluateand monitor the performance and quality standards of sub-contractors withintheir infrastructure boundaries.Maintaininstallation tools and equipment in safe working order.Educatecustomers on the features and functionality of installed products.Assistwith the completion of tasks within the allotted time frame.Assistwith parts, shipping, receiving and inventory as needed.Reviewpaperwork with customers where needed.Assistin the removal and installation of materials in customer’s premises.Attimes, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates and remain physically fit. QualificationsCollegeDegree (preferred)Previoustrade experience a plusExcellentwritten and verbal communication skillsStrongtroubleshooting abilitiesProblemSolvingComfortableworking at heights and off laddersAvalid motorcycle or motorcar driver's licenseCommunicationSkillsAbility towork under pressureJob-specificskills such as splicing and racking.Payattention to detail by listening to client concerns and issues.
