Job summary
We are seeking a practical, experienced accountant who can manage multiple SME client files independently. This role requires full-cycle bookkeeping skills, patience with incomplete records, and the ability to deliver clean, reliable accounts without constant supervision
Job descriptions & requirements
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple clients
• Perform reconciliations (bank, M-Pesa, petty cash, suppliers, customers)
• Handle clean up and catch up assignments
• Prepare monthly management accounts and audit-ready records
• Process payroll and statutory returns (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, VAT, etc.)
• Communicate professionally with clients and follow up on missing documents
• Set up and maintain accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, etc.)
• Support and review work of junior staff
