- Identify and prospect potential international buyers, distributors, manufacturers, wholesalers, and corporate customers.
- Conduct market research to identify export opportunities and target markets.
- Generate qualified leads through outbound sales activities, networking, referrals, trade directories, digital platforms, and industry databases.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
- Initiate contact with potential buyers and schedule business meetings and presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable packaging solutions.
- Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and product information to prospective clients.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to move prospects through the sales process.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements within approved company guidelines.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and quotations.
- Support export sales processes by ensuring accurate documentation and communication with clients.
- Monitor customer orders and maintain regular communication throughout the sales cycle.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, quotations, and follow-ups.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline performance and sales progress.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging export opportunities.
- Consistently achieve individual sales and business development targets.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in export sales, international business development, or B2B sales.
- Experience in packaging, manufacturing, FMCG, industrial products, or related sectors will be an added advantage.
- Proven ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and close sales opportunities.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
