Your mission is simple — accelerate user growth, lead a high-performing team, and exceed revenue and partnership goals. You’ll work directly with Fuzu’s senior leadership and be a visible face of the brand in Kenya.This is an opportunity to lead a scale-up within a startup — a highly entrepreneurial environment where results, ownership, and ambition speak louder than hierarchy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Be DoingOwn the P&L for Kenya: Drive topline growth through strategic execution of B2B and B2C initiatives, including various employability initiatives.Lead and develop a team: Coach and inspire a growing local team across sales, marketing, and customer experience.Drive B2B sales: Build strong pipelines, close strategic partnerships, and grow Fuzu's footprint among employers.Accelerate B2C user growth: Collaborate closely with the global marketing team to ensure consistent user acquisition and activation.Be the face of Fuzu: Represent Fuzu in media, partnerships, and events.Operational excellence: Ensure targets are hit, OKRs are exceeded, and the Kenya office runs as a well-oiled machine.Data-first decision making: Use data to analyze trends, measure ROI, and identify new opportunities.Who We’re Looking ForYou’re ambitious, strategic, and execution-focused. You’ve led teams, owned a commercial target, and want to grow into a regional leadership role.You’ll thrive in this role if you:Have 7+ years of professional experience, ideally with 1–2 years at a high-growth startup and/or top-tier consulting or tech firm.Have at least 2 years of experience leading teams — and love building others up.Have carried revenue responsibility and know how to grow it.Understand what matters in a business (and what doesn’t).Are data-literate, comfortable with Excel and analysis to support decisions.Thrive in ambiguity, are execution-oriented, and get things DONE.Communicate clearly and confidently, with strong presence.Are deeply passionate about youth employment, impact, and the future of work in Africa.Preferred BackgroundsFormer startup Head of Business Development, Head of Growth or Country Manager, especially those from tech-enabled or marketplace businesses.Experienced BizOps or Strategy leader from a scaling SME with real revenue and team ownership.What We OfferUnmatched ownership in a rapidly scaling, mission-driven operation.A chance to shape the future of work for millions of people in Kenya and beyond.Deep mentorship from leaders with global experience.A high-performance culture that rewards autonomy, impact, and results.Competitive compensation and growth into regional leadership.
