We are seeking to recruit qualified Fiber Optic Installation Engineers to join a leading fiber optic installation and telecommunications construction company based in Thessaloniki, Greece.

THE JOB

Work as a Fiber Optic Installation Engineer for a fiber optic installation construction company in Thessaloniki, Greece. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining fiber optic networks for both commercial and residential telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Job Tasks Include:

• Installation and deployment of fiber optic cable networks.
• Building Fiber Distribution Installation for residential and commercial projects.
• Customer Premises Fiber Installation and activation services.
• Fiber splicing, termination, and troubleshooting.
• Testing fiber optic connections using appropriate testing equipment.
• Reading and interpreting network diagrams and technical drawings.
• Identifying and resolving installation and connectivity issues.
• Ensuring all installations meet quality, safety, and company standards.
• Participating in training programs on company-specific equipment and installation procedures.
• Learning basic Greek language skills required for workplace communication.

Benefits

• Work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Net salary of €900 per month approximately KES 135,000
• Any approved overtime hours worked will be compensated according to company policy and Greek labor regulations.
• Free accommodation provided near the working site.
• Accommodation consists of a furnished apartment shared with 1-2 colleagues of the same nationality.
• Free public health insurance under the Greek state healthcare system.
• Initial employment contract of one year.
• Upon contract expiration, employees may renew with the same employer or secure employment with another employer in Greece.
• No time limit on future contracts, allowing employees to live and work in Greece on a long-term basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are targeting candidates with the following qualifications:

• Male candidates aged between 25 and 40 years.
• At least 3 years of professional experience specifically as a Fiber Optic Installation Engineer.
• Ability to provide videos demonstrating fiber optic installation experience.
• Fiber Optic Engineering Certificate or related professional certification.
• Proven experience in both:
  • Building Fiber Distribution Installation.
  • Customer Premises Fiber Installation.
• Recommendation letters from previous employers.
• Willingness to undergo additional training and learn the Greek language.
