Accord is a Kenyan health-technology company connecting healthcare providers, patients and payers through integrated digital solutions. We are expanding our commercial team and are looking for experienced, energetic and results-driven Medical Sales Representatives to grow the adoption of Accord among:
• Pharmacies
• Doctors and medical clinics
• Independent laboratories
• Independent radiology and imaging centres
The role
You will identify prospective healthcare providers, demonstrate Accord’s solutions, and support providers through registration, onboarding and active use of the platform.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and manage a pipeline of pharmacies, doctors, clinics, laboratories and radiology centres within your assigned territory.
• Visit prospective providers and present Accord’s solutions through compelling, needs-based demonstrations.
• Explain how Accord supports provider operations, patient access, digital prescriptions, bookings, electronic claims, preauthorisation, payments and other relevant workflows.
• Register and onboard new providers, including helping them configure their services and charges.
• Build productive relationships with healthcare owners, practitioners, administrators and other decision-makers.
• Follow up with onboarded providers to encourage active and sustained platform use.
• Achieve agreed targets for provider acquisition, activation, utilisation and revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, visits, demonstrations, conversions and market feedback.
• Monitor competitor activity and share insights on provider needs, pricing and emerging market opportunities.
• Represent Accord professionally at healthcare events, conferences and provider forums.
What we are looking for
• Diploma or degree in Sales and Marketing, Business, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Health Sciences or a related field.
• At least two years’ successful experience as a Medical Representative, Healthcare Sales Representative or in a similar field-sales role.
• Established relationships with pharmacies, doctors, clinics, laboratories or radiology centres will be a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales and acquisition targets.
• Confidence in conducting face-to-face and digital product demonstrations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Good understanding of Kenya’s private healthcare market.
• Comfortable using digital platforms, mobile applications and sales-management tools.
• Self-driven, organised and able to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism and customer service.
• Experience selling healthcare technology, practice-management systems, , laboratory or radiology services, medical devices, or pharmaceutical products will be particularly valuable.
