As we scale our regional footprint, we are seeking a highly resilient, results-oriented, and professionally polished Sales and Marketing Officer to join our commercial development team.
The Role Overview
If you are a master negotiator who thrives on closing high-value corporate deals, this role is for you. As the Sales and Marketing Officer, you will be the driving force behind our commercial business growth. Your mission will be to identify new corporate market opportunities, convert inbound/outbound leads into long-term cleaning contracts, manage strategic brand campaigns, and maintain outstanding client relationships across Nairobi and regional networks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Business Development & Closing
• Actively hunt for and secure long-term commercial cleaning contracts across corporate office complexes, shopping malls, medical institutions, and industrial hubs.
• Conduct comprehensive physical site surveys at prospective client premises to assess property dimensions, calculate resource needs, and establish accurate service pricing models.
• Draft, pitch, and deliver winning commercial proposals, tender documentation, RFQs, and executive presentations to corporate decision-makers.
• Swiftly capture, engage, and qualify warm sales leads coming from digital marketing funnels, company channels, and corporate networks.
2. Brand Management & Digital Outreach
• Create, curate, and optimize compelling multimedia content across BCS digital pipelines (LinkedIn, corporate website, Meta platforms) to position our firm as an industry benchmark.
• Track, analyze, and manage lead-generation marketing campaigns, providing strategic conversion feedback to executive management.
3. Account Management & Retention Revenue
• Seamlessly manage client onboarding transitions, translating agreed-upon contracts into flawless blueprints for our technical operations team.
• Review existing accounts to aggressively upsell and cross-sell supplementary services like pest control, landscaping, and specialized post-construction cleanups.
• Oversee customer satisfaction monitoring, handle commercial contract inquiries proactively, and build loyalty initiatives to guarantee renewal rates.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
• Education: A Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related commercial field.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven, verifiable track record in B2B corporate sales, longterm corporate service agreements, or commercial facilities management solutions within Kenya.
• Proven Performance: A demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding aggressive commercial revenue targets and converting prominent corporate clients.
Core Skills & Competencies Required
• Deal Closing & B2B Negotiation: An outstanding capacity to engage senior facility managers, property developers, and executive boards while converting objections into signatures.
• B2B Technical Savvy: Ability to physically survey complex properties and accurately envision labor hours, machinery requirements, and operational costs.
• Digital Literacy: Practical competency in leveraging modern digital marketing platforms, target tools, and B2B lead generation tactics.
• Resilience & Professional Polish: Exceptional corporate communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and elite stamina to consistently perform under target-driven pipeline frameworks.
Working Conditions & Environment
• Hybrid Operations: A highly dynamic mix of high-focus planning and coordination at our Nairobi HQ, combined with extensive client-facing field deployments across Nairobi.
• Physical Demands: Active on-site exploration and structural navigation of varied properties (large multi-story office blocks, complex retail layouts, industrial warehouses) during initial surveys.
• Performance Structure: This is a strictly target-driven position operating under a highly organized pipeline, monitored closely through a clear KPI evaluation dashboard.
