Job Summary

Manage sales accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.

Job Description/Requirements

Primary duties and responsibilities:

1. Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.

2. Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.

3. Preparing sales proposals for clients.

4. Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments’ participation in servicing clients.

5. Prepare information for, meet, and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.

6. Clear understanding of the Hotel’s business strategies then set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.

7. Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.

8. Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.

9. Represent Hotel in various events and exhibitions.

10. Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.

11. Attending all department and hotel meetings as necessary.

12. Able to provide quick and timely responses and develop professional long-term business relationships.

13. Always provide the highest quality of service to the customer. 

14. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis

15. Participate in the daily business review meeting, training and other sales-related meetings as assigned.

16. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualification and Key Competencies:
• Proven success in similar roles and environment
• Demonstrates good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Exhibits excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Is willing and able to travel to establish and maintain client networks.
• Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service.
• Assertive, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing.

Experience:
• MUST have at least 5 years of experience handling a similar role in a busy environment preferably in a 3-4-star hotel.
