Job Description
Role
We are currently seeking an ideal candidate who understands beauty products, enjoys interacting with customers, and possesses strong selling skills. The right individual should be able to effectively convert their product knowledge into sales while maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential business clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Negotiate and close sales deals.
- Onboard new clients and ensure a smooth transition to service delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline updates in the CRM.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Gather market intelligence and provide customer feedback to management.
Requirements
Key Qualifications
- A KCSE certificate or certificate or diploma in Sales and Marketing, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Business Administration, or a related field would be an added advantage.
- Customer service skills: Friendly, polite, and approachable, able to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and patient when dealing with different types of customers.
- Knowledge of nail products: Familiarity with nail polish, gel polish, acrylic systems, nail tips, brushes, files, buffers, lamps, nail art products, and related accessories, basic understanding of how different products are used. willingness to learn about new brands and products.
- Sales ability: Confident in explaining products and their benefits. Able to upsell and cross-sell related products. Capable of meeting sales targets. Good negotiation and persuasion skills without being pushy.
- Communication skills: Clear and professional communication. Good listening skills. Able to explain product differences, prices, and usage instructions clearly.
- Retail experience o Previous experience in a beauty, cosmetics, nail products, salon, or retail environment is an advantage. o Experience handling customers and processing sales is desirable.
- Product presentation and store management: Able to keep shelves and displays neat and attractive, can identify low-stock products and inform management, understands basic stock-taking and inventory procedures.
- Cash-handling and POS skills:Comfortable operating a POS system or sales software and attention to detail when processing transactions.
- Personal qualities o Honest and trustworthy: Well-groomed and presentable, energetic, confident, and hardworking, reliable and punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:
- Kes. 15000 - 18,000 depending on expertise.
