CASHIER (TRAINEE)

• Process Cash Transactions: Handle cash exchanges and accurately count   and verify the funds received from customers
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Assist guests with cash transactions, answer inquiries, and address any concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
• Follow Regulatory Guidelines: Adhere to regulations, including verifying the age and identification of customers, reporting suspicious activities, and following anti-money laundering protocols.
• Perform Accounting Tasks: Prepare reports, reconcile transactions, and maintain accurate records of all cash transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as other staff, security, and surveillance teams, to ensure a seamless flow of cash operations.
• Maintain Cash Handling Equipment: Operate and maintain cash handling equipment, such as currency counters, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Uphold Security Measures: Adhere to strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information and transactions.

Qualifications

·        Minimum qualifications  Accounting Technicians Diploma (Kasneb)

•   CPA 1 and 2 added advantage.
•   KCSE - a mean grade of C (plain ) and above 

·        Quality cautious and keen on detail

·        Good planning and organizational skills

·        Good communication skills both written and spoken

·        Good analytical skills

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. 

•   Current Certificate of good conduct
