Job summary
The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across the Human Resources function in a fully remote work environment. The role will support employee administration, recruitment, onboarding, HR records, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR processes while leveraging digital HR, CRM, and workplace technologies to ensure efficient service delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Administration
· Support the day-to-day administration of HR activities and employee requests.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
· Prepare HR letters, reports, employee documentation, and other correspondence.
· Ensure HR documents are properly organized, securely stored, and easily accessible when required.
· Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Recruitment & Onboarding
· Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
· Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.
· Ensure new employees complete required documentation and receive relevant company information, policies, and tools.
· Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records.
Employee Support & Communication
· Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR queries.
· Respond to employee requests professionally and within agreed timelines.
· Support employee engagement and internal communication initiatives.
· Assist in resolving routine HR and employee administration matters.
HR Technology & Digital Tools
· Use HR information systems, CRM platforms, communication tools, and digital workplace applications to support HR operations.
· Maintain accurate digital employee records and databases.
· Assist with implementation and effective use of HR technology and digital workflows.
· Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and automation.
Leave, Attendance & Employee Records
· Assist with monitoring employee leave and attendance records.
· Update HR systems with relevant employee information and changes.
· Support the preparation of attendance, leave, and other HR reports.
Performance & Employee Development
· Support performance management and appraisal processes.
· Assist with employee training and development coordination.
· Maintain relevant training and performance records.
General HR Support
· Assist the HR Manager with HR projects and initiatives.
· Prepare routine HR reports and management information.
· Support policy implementation and other HR-related activities.
· Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
· Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
· Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR-related role
· Previous BPO experience is an added advantage
· Strong working knowledge of HR systems, CRM platforms, and digital workplace tools
· Good understanding of general HR administration and employee management processes
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant digital productivity tools
