Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will assist in recruitment, employee records management, payroll administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement while ensuring efficient day-to-day HR operations.


Key Responsibilities

• Performing administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails for the HR department

• Maintaining proper records of employee attendance and leave to assist with payroll duties • Assisting the HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration • Submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates and scheduling job interviews • Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees

• Serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries

• Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events

• Ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws refine to a full jd

 

Qualifications & Experience

●        Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

●       At least 1–3 years' experience in Human Resources or Administration.

●       Membership or registration with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) is an added advantage.

●       Knowledge of the Employment Act, labour laws, and HR best practices.


Skills & Competencies

●       Strong organizational and administrative skills.

●       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

●       High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

●       Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

●       Good planning, multitasking, and time management skills.

●       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

●       Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS) or payroll software is an added advantage.

●       Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

●       Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
