Mini Mart Assistant

Reporting To
Store Supervisor / Operations 

Key Responsibilities
Attend to customers professionally and assist with product inquiries.
Receive, arrange, and replenish stock on shelves and display areas.
Monitor product expiry dates and report damaged or slow-moving items.
Operate POS systems and handle cash, mobile payments, and receipts accurately.
Ensure shelves, refrigerators, and display areas remain clean and well organized.
Support stock counts, inventory checks, and daily reconciliation processes.
Assist in opening and closing procedures of the store.
Maintain proper merchandising standards and promotional displays.
Coordinate with supervisors on stock shortages and customer feedback.
Adhere to company operational procedures, hygiene, and security standards.
Support delivery coordination and packaging where necessary.
Perform any additional operational duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification.
Previous retail, supermarket, or mini mart experience is an added advantage.
Basic computer and POS knowledge preferred.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Honest, organized, and dependable.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
