About the Role 

We are seeking a highly motivated and intelligent Business Development Manager to spearhead  the sales and distribution of our snack products across Kenya. The ideal candidate will have strong  experience in the FMCG industry, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a proven  ability to drive sales growth.  You will be responsible for expanding our product presence in bars, convenience stores,  supermarkets, and other key retail outlets. This is a hands-on role that requires regular fieldwork,  relationship management, and strategic business development. 


Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute a sales and distribution strategy to increase product visibility and  market share. 

• Identify and onboard new clients, including supermarkets, bars, and convenience stores.

• Manage and grow relationships with existing distributors and retailers.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitor activities.

• Drive in-store activation, merchandising, and promotional initiatives to boost sales.

• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. 

• Represent the company in client meetings and trade events. 


Qualifications & Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

 • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in sales or business development within the FMCG  sector, preferably in food and beverage or snacks. 

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Must be willing to travel frequently within the field.

• Energetic, self-driven, and results-oriented with a positive attitude.
