JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications:Strong academic or professional background in English language, literature, and linguistics, including those with teaching experience.A minimum of 2+ years in English tutoringStrong understanding of English grammar, including parts of speech (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections), and their functions in sentences.Proficiency in sentence structure and analysis, including identifying subjects, predicates, objects, and complements.Demonstrated ability to perform sentence diagramming to analyze and clarify sentence structure. Excellent analytical and interpretive skills to accurately understand and extract claims from complex texts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop basic training materials to support labeler training.Conduct training sessions for labelers and reviewers.Perform periodic quality reviews to ensure labeling compliance with guidelines and address any areas of confusion.Facilitate Q&A sessions with annotators and reviewers.Proactively identify and document edge cases, communicating them to both the client and labelers.Collaborate with project leaders and data managers on labeling quality metrics.
