DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Automation & Process Improvement

·       Identify opportunities to automate manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and administrative processes.

·       Analyze existing workflows and recommend technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

·       Implement and continuously improve automated processes based on performance results.

Software Development & Integration

·       Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom software applications, scripts, and automation solutions.

·       Develop system integrations to connect business, manufacturing, and operational technologies.

·       Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.

Emerging Technology & Innovation

·       Lead initiatives involving AI, IoT, robotics, RPA, data analytics, and other emerging technologies.

·       Evaluate new technologies and identify practical applications for manufacturing and business operations.

·       Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot solutions before organization-wide implementation.

Manufacturing Technology

·       Support integration of technology with manufacturing automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and industrial control systems.

·       Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement technology solutions for operational challenges.

·       Ensure new digital solutions integrate effectively with existing manufacturing infrastructure and processes.

Innovation Project Management

·       Lead cross-functional technology and innovation projects from concept through implementation.

·       Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and implementation strategies.

·       Monitor project outcomes, risks, costs, and benefits to ensure successful delivery.

Continuous Improvement

·       Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other process improvement methodologies to technology and operational initiatives.

·       Measure the impact of implemented solutions using appropriate performance indicators and operational data.

·       Identify opportunities for further optimization and establish a culture of continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Training

·       Work with business, production, engineering, finance, supply chain, and other stakeholders to understand operational requirements.

·       Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and training to promote adoption of new technologies and improved processes.

·       Communicate technical concepts and innovation opportunities effectively to both technical and non-technical teams.

 Technology Research & Knowledge Management

·       Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and manufacturing technology developments.

·       Assess the potential business value, risks, and scalability of new technologies before adoption.

·       Document innovation initiatives, lessons learned, best practices, and technology standards.


KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

·       Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

·       4-6 years of experience in IT development and innovation, ideally in manufacturing or industrial automation.

·       Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and automation tools (e.g., RPA software).

·       Strong background in process improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile. · Experience with manufacturing automation systems, including PLC programming or SCADA.

·       Certifications in project management (PMP) or innovation (e.g., Certified Innovation Professional).

·       Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions.

·       Excellent leadership and communication abilities to drive cross-functional innovation initiatives.
