Functions / Key Results Expected

1. Program Planning

• Develop, maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) of the Program.
• Consolidate the schedules of all projects into a single, coherent plan.
• Define planning methodologies, work breakdown structures (WBS) and planning standards.
• Develop baseline calendars and ensure their management.
• Identify the interfaces and dependencies between the different projects.
• Ensure consistency in schedules between the different teams.

2. Development and management of project schedules

• Develop detailed schedules covering the entire project lifecycle.
• Structure the activities according to a coherent technical logic.
• Define the relationships between activities and the main milestones.
• Integrate the activities of design, procurement (identify the “Long Lead Items”), manufacturing, delivery, construction, testing, commissioning and acceptance.
• Update schedules regularly based on actual progress.
• Maintain reference calendars and ensure their traceability.

3. Critical Path Analysis

• Perform critical path analyses (Critical Path Method - CPM).
• Identify critical and near-critical activities.
• Analyze free margins and total margins (Float Analysis).
• Identify constraints that could impact deadlines.
• Develop recovery plans.
• Formulate recommendations to reduce the impact on contractual deadlines.

4. Resource Management

• Plan the needs for human, material and equipment resources.
• Identify resource conflicts between different projects.
• Conduct capacity analyses.
• Anticipate periods of overload or under-utilization.
• Advise project managers on the necessary trade-offs.

5. Progress monitoring

• Update schedules based on progress data.
• Compare the achievements to the reference schedules.
• Identify planning discrepancies and analyze the causes of the deviations.
• Calculate performance indicators and produce reliable forecasts.

6. Risk and Change Analysis

• Identify risks related to the schedule and participate in risk analyses.
• Evaluate the impacts of scope changes and modifications

Education Requirements

Required

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field with 5 years of experience
• Master's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field with 7 years of relevant experience

Desired

• PMP, PMI-SP or equivalent certification

Experience Requirements

Required

• At least 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling.

Desired

• Significant experience in complex infrastructure and programs.

Language Requirements

Fluent French required.

English, fluent, desirable
