Job descriptions & requirements

The Graduate Trainee – Research & Data Analytics will support the research team in designing, implementing, and analyzing research projects while leveraging modern analytical and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in research methodologies, data management, and evidence-based reporting within a dynamic and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of research methodologies, sampling frameworks, and data collection instruments.
  • Assist in designing surveys, questionnaires, interview guides, and other research tools.
  • Participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing qualitative and quantitative research projects.
  • Clean, organize, manipulate, and analyze quantitative datasets using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate research findings.
  • Conduct statistical analyses while ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Utilize AI tools to streamline literature reviews, synthesize qualitative data, and improve research workflows.
  • Explore emerging AI technologies to enhance research efficiency and innovation.
  • Interpret research findings and transform data into actionable insights.
  • Prepare professional reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of evidence-based solutions and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Research Methods, Social Sciences, or another related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of statistical or data analysis software is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated interest in research, data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and research methodologies.
