Job summary

Our clients is seeking an experienced, proactive, and business-minded Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations of their salon, spa, and barbershop. The role focuses on staff management, customer service, sales growth, inventory control, financial administration, marketing, and overall business performance. The Manager will be based at the salon reception, overseeing front-desk operations and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Customer Experience

● Manage daily salon, spa, and barbershop operations.

● Ensure service quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with procedures.

● Maintain facilities, equipment, and operational standards.

● Resolve operational challenges and customer concerns.

Staff Management

● Recruit, onboard, supervise, and evaluate employees.

● Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.

● Coach and develop staff while fostering accountability and professionalism.

Sales & Business Growth

● Monitor sales performance and client retention.

● Identify and implement revenue growth opportunities.

● Recommend promotions, partnerships, and business improvement initiatives.

Marketing

● Coordinate marketing campaigns and social media activities.

● Increase brand visibility, customer engagement, and community presence.

● Monitor and evaluate marketing effectiveness.

Financial & Administrative Management

● Ensure accurate POS usage and sales reporting.

● Liaise with the accountant and support payroll processes.

● Prepare operational and performance reports for the owner.

Inventory & Procurement

● Manage stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships.

● Maintain inventory records and minimize losses and wastage.

Qualifications & Experience

● Minimum 3 years' experience managing a salon, spa, barbershop, or similar service business.

● Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, HR, Beauty Management, or related field.

● Experience in staff supervision, inventory management, POS systems, customer service, and business growth.

Skills

● Strong leadership and communication skills.

● Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

● Business acumen and commercial awareness.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
