Job Description
The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation was established through a Legal Gazette Notice No. of as a State Corporation with the aim of promoting forest conservation by providing buffer zones of tea and assorted tree species to check against human encroachment into the forestland.
Job Specification
Duties and responsibilities will entail Assisting in:-
Stocking of firewood on to the boilers; Maintaining the required water levels in the boilers; Recording the fuel consumption and temperatures of the boilers; Noting and reporting any malfunction of the boilers for maintenance; and Treating the boiler water.Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade D+ (plus); Certificate in boiler operations and maintenance or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution; and Proficiency in computer application skills.Important safety tips
