 BayCare Health Systems Is Currently Seeking Experienced OR Registered Nurses To Join Our Outstanding And Compassionate Float Team. BayCare Offers a Variety Of Assignment Options Including
System Pool and Seasonal Pool 13-week OR assignments. MUST live outside our local market to be eligible for seasonal rate. current assignments available @ multiple locations. Assignment placement is based on the needs of the health system.
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
• The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS is required.
• ACLS is required
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• 18 months RN experience in an acute OR setting is required
• 2 years RN experience in an acute OR setting is strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• Flexibility
